We believe everyone deserves access to good food. Every fall, we come to the table to celebrate the harvest, the people, and the land that are Zenger Farm. We break bread together. We raise a glass to the many hands that dug and joined to create bounty in the city. Most importantly, we raise the funds necessary to strengthen our programs to provide families with healthy, affordable food and the education to create a resilient, food secure community.
Proceeds from Farm to Table 2012 give children the opportunity to gather eggs from nesting boxes and pluck carrots from fertile soil, give everyone access to farm-fresh produce through our farm shares program and farmers market, and equip families with the tools and know-how necessary to cook wholesome meals on a limited budget.
