The Oregon Farm Direct Bill led to the development of Farm Direct Marketing Administrative Rules effective January 1, 2012. For information in English on the Oregon Farm Direct Bill, please visit the Oregon Department of Agriculture's FAQ page. Lents International Farmers Market had the FAQ translated into Spanish & Russian in March 2013. The ODA FAQ webpage has since been updated but the information should still be accurate. If you are unsure or have specific questions about your farming and farm direct marketing operations, please contact the Oregon Department of Agriculture's Food Safety Division.
Each week, Lents International Farmers Market reserves two stall spaces for not-for-profit organizations to do education and outreach. We ask for a $10 donation to cover our costs. No organization will be turned away for lack of funds. Please read and fill out the Community Booth Policy & Agreement if you are interested in joining us at Lents International Farmers Market this season!
