Zenger Farm has a flock of chickens that live in a mobile coop. The farmers move the coop from field to field after they are done harvesting the vegetables. The chickens eat any leftover vegetables, insect pests and fertilize the field.
Zenger Farm Egg Cooperative is a group of community members who share in the care of the flock and the bounty of eggs. Members take on chores one day a week at sunrise or sunset, pay dues to cover supplies, and get a 1/14 share of the eggs laid.
