In celebration of our 20 year anniversary, Zenger Farm is pleased to announce “Family Style”, A Womxn of Color Chef Series and benefit fundraiser, curated and produced by JOOP JOOP Creative. This series of four events will bring together Zenger supporters for a curated family style meal of incredible food, drinks, entertainment, and community hosted on the beautiful Zenger farm. Proceeds from the Family Style benefit help sustain Zenger Farm’s education and food access programs.

Using the lens of Food Justice and Food Sovereignty, Zenger Farm envisions a world where food is part of the web of healing relationships between people, land, and life. In this world, communities thrive, people determine how food is grown and distributed, the Earth is respected and cared for throughout every process of the food system, and everyone has access to culturally appropriate and nourishing foods that feed the body, mind, and spirit.

Family Style was curated out of a love for eating meals “family style” which engages interaction with the people you are breaking bread with. This modern dinner series truly engages the community by bringing authenticity, creativity, and each chef’s special touch and knowledge to the table. Curating this lineup of local womxn of color chefs and performers brings a perspective that isn’t often seen and deserves to be shared with our communities, all the while raising awareness and money for Zenger Farm and celebrating its 20th anniversary in a very special way. You will feel, see, hear and taste the layers of intention with Family Style and we encourage you to bring your loved ones to Zenger Farm for a new modern take on a chef series.

Tickets are $90 per person for a 4 course dinner including beer, wine, and cocktails (nonalcoholic beverages available) and can be purchased at EventBrite. All events are 21+ and dinners will be served family-style (no substitutions).
