We are not running camps in 2021. Please visit our eventspage to find other ways to visit the farm. Thank you!
While we were able to run a small summer camp last year successfully, it was pretty taxing on staff and was costly to the organization. So we are looking into other ways to have kids here this summer. Please know that we are sad about this choice and will miss your kids enormously!!

MARCH 23rd: Farm Babies
Come visit baby chicks and new sprouts as we explore spring at Zenger Farm! We’ll make friends with the baby chickens and see what’s growing in the fields and then we’ll make a farm fresh snack. The Children’s Garden has room for us to plant seeds for summer so let’s put in all our favorites then check on the baby geese in the wetland. Come prepared for outdoor fun!
MARCH 24th: Tastes Of Spring Cooking
Let’s get cooking! Come explore Zenger Farm in early spring and eat the first foods of the season! We will be harvesting fresh vegetables as well as using preserved farm food to get creative in the kitchen as we celebrate the return of spring. We’ll work together to build our cooking skills and make some tasty treats to share. But don’t worry- we’ll make sure there is enough time to visit the chickens and explore the fields and wetland!
MARCH 25th: Wild Craft
It’s time to get creative! In this camp, we’ll focus on the power of plants and use them respectfully to create art, and medicine. What can you make? Let’s learn about healing remedies and natural art, using wild ingredients found on and around the farm. Come join us to learn just what wild plants can do!
MARCH 26th: Spring Soup Social
Join us as we harvest the first foods of the season and use preserved farm food to turn them into amazing homemade soups! Come ready to build your kitchen skills while making delicious soups to share. Then we’ll get outside to see what’s growing in the Children’s Garden as well as participate in spring planting! Come with an appetite!
MARCH 27th: Farm Play Day
Be a farmer for a day at Zenger Farm! We’ll be planting spring seeds in the Children’s Garden and playing in the Nature Playground. We’ll play games in the wetland and explore the farm fields and, of course, bring snacks to the chickens. Farmers get hungry so we’ll be sure to make a delicious farm snack to keep our energy going as we play in the fresh spring air. Come prepared for outdoor fun!
