The festival will have two online sessions that will bring people together to celebrate community while learning more about Zenger Farm’s work. Attendees are welcome to attend one or both sessions – both are completely FREE to join. If you would like to attend both sessions, you’ll need to register separately for each one.
Community Harvest Festival Kids & Family: Saturday, September 26th 11:00AM-12:00PM
Follow our wonderful Youth Education team for a fun morning of interactive farm activities including songs, games, and more! Families will also participate in a hands-on seed saving activity and will learn how to make a simple and kid-friendly salsa recipe provided by our Community Chefs. We will be offering a limited number of family-friendly gift bags — including a youth activity kit, ceramic mug and spoon, farmer-owned Fairtrade Chocolate, hand sanitizer, fresh baked cookies from Bella’s Italian Bakery, Bob’s Red Mill grains, Zenger Farm Community Chef-made farm fruit butter, and farm produce and recipes, — as a fun paid add-on with your contribution to our programs.
Community Harvest Festival Happy Hour: Saturday, September 26th 4:00PM-5:30PM
Join us for a cocktail or mocktail while getting to know our community of food justice leaders. Zenger Farm Community Chefs will walk you through a demonstration where you’ll follow along to create a traditional healing oxymel syrup. You’ll also learn more about the Farm and our Youth Education and Community Engagement programs all while having fun and celebrating 20 years of Zenger Farm! A limited number of gift bags — including a ‘Tito’s Thyme Out’ cocktail or mocktail kit, farmer-owned Fairtrade Chocolate, hand sanitizer, fresh baked cookies from Bella’s Italian Bakery, Bob’s Red Mill grains, and Zenger Farm Community Chef-made farm fruit jellies — are available as a fun paid add-on with your contribution to our programs.
