Kids Activities: December
We are making at-home activity sheets for kids to share with all of you! We miss having kids at the farm so much and we think of all of you as we create these activities. Each one is screen-free and either gets kids outside, in the kitchen or doing something crafty. We’ll be posting more each month so check back often!
We hope you have a blast with these! If you post pictures of your kids doing the activities, make sure to tag us @zengerfarm on Facebook or Instagram.
Seed Saving
Seed saving is a fun and thrifty activity, and a great way to learn about plant growth. Go exploring in your area to see if you can find any seeds. Dry them and save them to plant next spring!
Rainbow Crayons
Take any old broken crayons and turn them into fun new rainbow crayons! You can even use different shaped molds. What designs can you make?
Sound Maps
Find a spot in nature and pay close attention to each sound you hear around you. Add each sound to your Sound Map! Go out at different times or days and see how the sounds you hear change.
